Interested in learning where to begin when it comes to teaching your child about feelings?
To me, children’s books are one of my favorite ways to begin to teach toddlers and preschoolers about feelings.
Books help to open the conversation, normalize feelings, and teach children how to cope with their big feelings.
A couple weeks ago, I shared my favorite children’s books for teaching anger management.
And in today’s video, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite and most recommended children’s books on feelings.

Hi! I love your blog and your posts have been so helpful to me. I wanted to share a book that I just published, with a psychiatrist consultant, about children’s mental health. It aims to teach kids about handling scary thoughts, mindfulness, and anxiety management. Would you consider reading it/featuring it on your site? Here is the Amazon link but I would be happy to send you a free digital version so that you can take a look.
