As a clinical psychologist, published author, and mother to two cheeky young children, I get it. I’ve spent YEARS researching and filtering through the noise online, so you don’t have to.
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day Week, I want to chat about self-love in motherhood and how we can learn how to stop our inner critic.
Our inner critic is that voice in our head that likes to tell us we’re not good enough and we’ll never be as pretty, smart, and likeable as everyone else.
It’s that pesky voice that yells at us “Don’t try that! You’re going to fail! No one is going to like that!” when we go to try new things.
Everyone has an inner critic and it takes much practice and patience to re-learn how to speak to ourselves with more compassion.
In this week’s video, I break down where your inner critic comes from + concrete steps you can take to stop your inner critic right in its tracks!
